Shani gives the first quest called Picking Up the Pieces. Go to a point of interest. Loot three containers like crates or cabinets. Extract at a cargo elevator. Look for the down arrow on the map. Gear up with a weapon, ammo, bandages, and a shield charger. Add grenades if you want. Rewards are a Rattlesnake SMG level 3, 80 medium ammo, and some junk. Next is Trash Into Treasure from Shani. Find six wires and one battery. Go to Dam Battlegrounds. Head north to Power Generation Center. Or try the safer Substation. Wires are in generators, computers, or trash. Dismantle a toaster in inventory with Tab and right-click. You get wires and plastics. Batteries come from field stations. Secure items and extract. Grounded Mysteries from Shani. Grab a supply crate. Deliver to Field Station. Dam south Water Towers. Carry slows you. No shooting or rolling. Drop in slot for extra loot. Extract alive. Get Combat I augment and medium shield.
A Better Use from Tian Wen. Find a supply beacon. Call a drop. Look for antennas on roofs or open spots. Buried City at Town Hall or Hospital. Cosmodrome at Launch Towers. Dam at Main Complex.
